Gallery Piet
Gallery Piet is loosely based on the artistic designs of Piet Mondrian (1872-1944), a Dutch Neo-Plasticist Painter, and one of the founders of De Stijl, A group which extended its principles of abstraction and simplification beyond painting and sculpture to architecture and graphic and industrial design. It was Don Birrell himself, from his years of experience in the graphic arts field, who suggested using this stile of design as a frame work for this gallery.

This gallery has the standard features: the gallery’s title links you to this Review Page, the artist’s name links you to their Biography Page, the menu has links to these two pages along with links to The Wall and the Welcome Pages. Redundant button links are found in the color squares which make up the gallery’s background (blue/The Wall, yellow/Welcome Page and pink/previous page). As in all of the galleries the exhibits images themselves will link you to another page with details about that particular work of art along with larger views.
